Herzliche Einladung zur Eröffnung der dreiteiligen Ausstellungsreihe

#1 Meeting&Forum 17.04.-02.05.2015
Unter dem Namen „Contact Perspectives“ startet das Hole of Fame in Kooperation mit Amnesty International am 17. April eine dreiteilige Ausstellungsreihe zu den Themen Flucht, Migration und transkulturellem Zusammenleben.
Im ersten Teil, der bis zum 2. Mai zu sehen sein wird, zeigt der Münchner Fotograf Paul Knecht eine Serie von Aufnahmen einer Flucht von der Türkei nach Griechenland. „Ich wollte wissen und festhalten, wie eine solche Flucht nach Europa eigentlich abläuft. Also gab ich mich in Istanbul als Georgier aus und begleitete Flüchtlinge auf dem Weg nach Griechenland“, so Knecht, der schon vorher den Alltag von Flüchtlingen in Calais fotografierte.
Die Dresdner Künstlerin Eva Lochner zeigt zudem ihre interaktive Installation „Gesichtskabine“, die auf ungewöhnlich direkte Art versucht, den Unterschied zwischen heimisch und fremd zu verwischen.
Im Raum des Hole of Fame soll im Laufe der zwei Wochen von Contact Perspectives #1 im Schaufenster eine Pinnwand entstehen. Jeder ist eingeladen dort seinen Kontakt zum künstlerischen Austausch anzubieten. Wir erhoffen uns so ein transkulturelles Netzwerk zwischen verschiedensten Autodidakten, Künstlern und Lebensartisten aus jeglichen künstlerischen Richtungen zu erschaffen. Diese ganz analoge Art und Weise des Kontaktaufbaus wollen wir bewusst dem digitalen Zeitalter entgegensetzen. Wir wünschen uns die Begegnung von Menschen auf gleicher Augenhöhe und wollen das gemeinsame Interesse sich künstlerisch zu äußern und zu entäußern als Ausgangspunkt dieser direkteren Art der Kommunikation ansehen.
Die Kontakte welche durch unsere Pinnwand entstehen, haben die Chance sich für den zweiten Teil unserer Reihe im Oktober zusammenzutun, um gemeinsam ein künstlerisches genreunabhängiges Werk zu erschaffen, sei dies künstlerisch, literarisch oder musikalisch.
In Contact Perspective #2 im Oktober 2015 soll im Hole of Fame unter dem Motto „Artists in Residence“ ein Working-Space mit anschließender Ausstellung kreiert werden. Es sind alle herzlich dazu eingeladen an diesem Experiment zu partizipieren und ihren Kontakt auf unserem Black Board zu hinterlassen. Wir wollen nicht nur über Willkommenskultur und transkulturelles Zusammenleben sprechen, sondern dieses aktiv leben!
Außerdem gibt es ein breit gefächertes Veranstaltungsprogramm mit Filmvorführungen, Lesungen, Konzerten und von Flüchtlingen organisierte Diskussionsrunden; sowie einen Workshop zum Thema Bio-Hacking im Rahmen des ICAS-Festivals. Veranstaltungen mit dem Asylum Seekers Movement und der Initiative für Asyl und gegen Rassismus sind zudem in Planung.

#1 Meeting & Forum – 17.04.-02.05.2015
„Contact Perspectives“ is the name of the new three part exhibition series about migration and trans-cultural coexistence, created by the Hole of Fame in cooperation with Amnesty International and other partners.
In the first part, which will be on show from April 17 until May 2, the Munich-based photographer Paul Knecht shows a series of images taken during a flight from Turkey to Greece. „I wanted to know and document what fleeing to Europe is actually like. Thus, in Istanbul, I posed as a Georgian and accompanied refugees to Greece,“ said Knecht, who had already photographed the daily lives of refugees in Calais before going to Turkey.
Furthermore, the artist Eva Lochner from Dresden is displaying her interactive installation „face cabin,“ which tries to blur the distinction between the self and the other in an unusually direct way.
During the two weeks of the exhibition Contact Perspectives # 1, the shop window of the Hole of Fame will become a blackboard. Everyone is invited to offer their contact details for artistic exchange there. Our aim is to create a transcultural network between various artitst, self-taught creators and other performers of various genres and art forms. This completely analogue contact structure is a conscious opposition to the digital age. We want people to meet on an equal footing and we perceive the common interest to express oneself artistically as a starting point for this more direct form of communication.
We hope to include the cooperations which result from these Blackboard contacts in the second part of our series in October. The aim is to invite people to co-create artistic works of any genre or form, be it literature, music, fine art, film or something else altogether.
Under the heading “Artists in Residence,” part two of the exhibition series attempts to create an artistisc work space folowed by an exhibition in the Hole of Fame in October 2015 .
Everyone is cordially invited to participate in this experiment and leave their contact on our Blackboard. We want to do more than talk about transculturalism and a culture of welcome, we would like to act and create together!
„Contact Perspectives #1“ will be accompanied by a wide range of events, including film screenings, readings, concerts and discussion groups organized by refugees. Additionally, the ICAS festival will offer a workshop on Bio-Hacking during the second week of the exhibition. Further events in cooperation with the “Asylum Seekers Movement” and the “Initiative für Asyl und gegen Rassismus” (Inititiave for Asylum and against Racism) are also planned.

„Contact Perspectives“ adı altında, Amnesty International ortaklığında 17 Nisan Hole of Fame’de kaçış, göçmenlik ve transkültürel yaşam üzerine üç bölümlü bir sergi serisi başlayacak.
2 Mayıs’a kadar süren birinci bölümlükte, Münich’li fotografcı Paul Knecht’in, Türkiye’den Yunanistan’a kaçış konulu bir resim serisi gösterilecek. „Avrupa’ya böyle bir geçişin nasıl olacağını bilmek ve belgelemek istedim. Bu yüzden Istanbul’da Gürcistan’li gibi davranip kaçakçılardan, gizlice ve yasa dışı yollarla Yunanistan’a kendimi geçirttirdim“, diyor Calais’de de mülteçilerin gündelik hayatı fotograflayan Knecht.
Üstelik Dresden’li Eva Lochner interaktif enstalasyon “Gesichtskabine” gösteriyor. Bu enstalasyon özellikle direk biçimde yerli ve yabancının arasındakı farkı bulanık hale getirmeyi deniyor.
Hole of Fame’in yerinde bu iki hafta boyunca camekanda Contact Perspectives #1’te bir ilan tahtası olacak. Sanat takası için herkesi iletişime geçmeye davet ediyor, bir tür otodidakt sanatçılar ve artistlerle transkültürel bir ağı oluşturmayı umut ediyoruz. Analog bir iletişim kurma ile dijital çağı karşı karşıya getirmek istiyoruz. Sanatsal ifadeler ve içimizden çıkanlar müşterek bir isteğimiz olduğu için, düz iletişimi baslangıç noktası olarak alıp insanların eşit göz hızasında buluşmasını diliyoruz. Ilan tahtası üzerinden iletişime geçen kişiler, ekimde başlayan sergimizin ikinci kısmında, birlikte her türden bağımsız sanatsal, müzik ya da yazın olarak bir çalışma yaratmaya şans kazanıyorlar.
Ekim 2015’de başlayan Contact Perspective #2’nin “Artists in Residence” (Sanatçılar direnişte) başlığın altında Hole of Fame’de bir çalışma alanı ve bunu takiben sergi oluşturulmasıdır. Herkesi bu deneyime katılmaya ve iletişimini tahtamiza bırakmaya nazikçe davet ediyoruz. Konuksever kültürü ve transkültürel yaşam hakkında sadece konuşmak istemiyoruz, aynı zamanda onu da aktif bir şeklinde yaşamak istiyoruz!
Üstelik film gösterimleri, okumalar, konserler ve mülteciler tarafından organize edilen tartışmalar ile çok çeşitli bir etkinlik programı var; hem de ICAS-Festival’ın parçası olarak Bio-Hacking ile ilgili bir atölyemiz olacak. Mülteçi Hareketi (Asylum Seekers Movement) ve Kaçış için Irkçılığa karşı Inisyatifi (Initiative für Asyl und gegen Rassismus ) ile etkinlikler planmaktadır.

Invitación para la apertura de la primera exposición de la serie

Hole of Fame en cooperación con Amnistia Internacional inicia el 17 de Abril una serie de tres exposiciones bajo el nombre de „Contact Perspectives“ sobre migración, huída y convivencia transcultural.
La primera parte, que puede ser visitada hasta el 2 de Mayo, el fotógrafo originario de Munich, Paul Knecht, muestra una serie de fotografías de una huída desde Turquía a Grecia. “Quería saber y capturar como funciona en realidad una fuga hacia Europa, así que me me hice pasar por un georgiano en Estambul y dejé que me pasaran a Grecia de forma ilegál”, según Knecht, que ya documentó el día a día de los refugiados en Calais.
La artista de Dresden, Eva Lochner, presenta su instalación intercativa “Gesichtskabine” (cabina de rostros), que trata de difuminar la diferencia entre el concepto de local y forastero, de una forma inusualmente directa.
Durante las dos semanas de la exposición, se instalará una pizarra en el ecaparate de la sala Hole of Fame, para que se produzca un intercambio artístico en el que todos están invitados a añadir su contacto. Pretendemos que se produzca una red transcultural entre artistas de todas las discuplinas. De esta forma analógica en la era de las redes digitales, intentamos conscientemente impulsar la comunicación directa de los participantes, para que todos se expresen artisticamente y esta expresión origine un producto artístico.
La red de contacto que se generen de esta forma, tendra la oportunidad de colaborar para crear una obra artistica en la que se mezclen todos los géneros, arte plástico, literal o musical, que se presentará en la segunda parte de la serie de exposiciones. Esta seguda parte de Contact Perspective #2, tendrá lugar en octubre de 2015 en Hole of Fame, bajo el lema “Artistas en residencia” y se creará un Espacio de trabajo conjunto que resultará en una exposición final de las piezas creadas.
Todo el mundo está invitado a participar en este experimento y añadir su contacto en nuestra pizarra. No solo queremos hablar sobre una cultura de bienvenida y sobre una convivencia transcultural, sino que también queremos experimentarla de forma activa!
Además se ofrecerá un extenso programa de actividades que incluyen presentación de películas, libros, conciertos y mesas redondas de discusión, preparadas por refugiados; así como un Workshop sobre Bio-Hacking dentro del Festival ICAS. Estamos planenando eventos junto con el movimiento “Asylum Seekers” y la iniciativa “Huída contra el Racismo”.
